Mission on the Bay
Located on the waterfront in the North Shore of Boston, Mission on the Bay is a nautically inspired three-tiered restaurant serving up New England Classics.

Pulling from maritime design, the interior displays a warm and organic feeling, with natural materials and dark blue barn board walls punctuated with accents of color in the custom artwork by artist and designer Morris Nathanson.

Mission on the Bay’s design blends together a sense of theatre, with an open kitchen, chef’s tables and (two!) bars. With water washing right up under the restaurant, the dining room feels a bit like the inside of a yacht.
Vibrant signal flags and rustic timber paneling offset the glamorous central bar and cozy seating provides the perfect spot to relax.
Enclosed in a unique brass scaled building, Bullion is accessed via a grand sweeping staircase, complimented by contemporary artwork by Jean-Michel Othoniel before entering a lounge and bar area. Showcasing a bespoke lozenge-patterned floor in dark timber and a richly decorated silk rug, the bar and lounge area has a highly decorative aesthetic and is bursting with exceptional detailing in the mid-century furniture, clad in mohair velvet and leather upholstery, bespoke glass and brass wall lights and a statement rose gold leaf ceiling.
Moving on through to the top floor guests will be greeted with The Ocean Bar a casual sanctuary offering enviable views of the Boston skyline. Live music and festoon lighting create a vibrant atmosphere and with the mixture of lounge seating and tables this has become Swampscott’s go-to drinks spot.
